Welcome to SuperSheffi – A Little About Me

Hi friends, and welcome to my blog! I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Christina, and I’m the creator behind this space for teachers—where stories come alive, creativity takes center stage, and meaningful classroom resources are just a click away.

I’ve been teaching for 7 years now. I currently teach fifth grade (which, let’s be honest, totally has my heart!), and before that, I spent two years in first grade. Teaching has truly become my calling, but my path to the classroom wasn’t exactly traditional.

How It All Started

I originally went to college to study American Sign Language with the goal of becoming an ASL interpreter. To get more experience, I worked with students with special needs—interpreting in classrooms and supporting students with severe disabilities. That experience changed everything for me. I didn’t just fall in love with the language—I fell in love with the classroom itself. I love the energy, the curiosity, and the joy of working with kids. So I got my teaching credential, earned a Master’s in Education in Teacher Leadership, and never looked back.

Why I’m Here

My passion is helping students fall in love with literature—just like I did as a kid. I believe books have the power to shape how we see the world, build empathy, and create lasting memories. That’s why I specialize in novel studies, literature-based activities, and bulletin board kits that bring learning to life. I don’t just want to create great resources for students—I want to support teachers in creating unforgettable learning moments in their classrooms.

Whether you’re looking for your next class read, need an activity to spark meaningful discussion, or want your bulletin board to celebrate something bigger than just the season—I’ve got you covered.

A Peek into My Life

Outside the classroom, I’m a mom and a wife. My husband and I met working as baristas at Starbucks (yes, coffee is practically a personality trait in our house ☕). We now have a beautiful miracle baby, Charlotte—named after Charlotte’s Web, the book that made me fall in love with reading in third grade. That story taught me the power of friendship, kindness, and quiet courage—and I carry that with me every day, in and out of the classroom.
